Event feedback interviews

Rating scales tell you a session scored 3.8. A conversation tells you the room was too small and the speaker ran over. Formfex asks every attendee and collects the specifics.

Ratings without reasons

Post-event surveys tend to be long grids of star ratings, and attendees rush through them. The comments box at the end, where the useful detail would be, is usually empty.

Formfex asks a few open questions, picks up on what each attendee mentions, and stops when it has enough. It is short for the attendee and specific for you.

What the interview looks like

Example conversation, written for illustration. It is not real respondent data.

  1. Formfex

What was the most useful part of the event for you?

  2. Respondent

The hands-on workshop in the afternoon.

  3. Formfex

What made it useful compared with the talks?

  4. Respondent

We built something real. But 40 minutes wasn't enough time.

  5. Formfex

If you could change one thing for next time, what would it be?

  6. Respondent

Make the workshop longer and cut one keynote.

What you get back

Every attendee's answers come back as fields, alongside a summary of what was positive, negative or urgent.

Questions to ask AI Chat

Once responses arrive, ask AI Chat (Ask Your Data in the product) about them in plain language. It answers from that form's own responses and shows which ones it drew on.

  • “Which sessions do attendees mention as most useful, and why?”
  • “What practical problems (rooms, timing, food) came up?”
  • “What would attendees change for next year?”

Where it fits

  • Collecting specific feedback from every attendee after the event
  • Keeping the conversation short with a question limit you set
  • Summarising themes across attendees with Smart Analytics

Where it doesn't

  • Event registration, ticketing or payments
  • Sending reminders: share the link through your own channels
  • Live polling during sessions
